Ancien Atelier de Kinkempois This Ubex tour started with drizzly weather. Fortunately, it was dry at our first locations. On the way to location K, a large shunting yard where we also visited 15 years ago (2008), including the operational control room of the shunting yard with the approval of the operators on site. Now completely abandoned as of 2014, visible on dated notices on the notice board. Lots of vandalism unfortunately. The large railway workshop was accessible and, on the other hand, without vandalism, perhaps achieved by the vagrants present who apparently 'lived' there. On the way to the next location (After much wandering and searching), we still found a hole in the fence of the HFB blast furnace site. It was now too dark to visit the installations and we found a safe route after carrying out our LMRA. The demolition there went 'well', so this visit will probably be the last too :-( .
